The rosary has a substantial ring and a reproduction Penal Cross in sterling silver (original was made in 1722) and is hand-chained with love and care in Ireland. The ring and cross are linked to the ten beads by a hand-wrapped and very secure sterling silver connector.
The rosary comes with a quality pouch for extra protection and ease of use and is presented in a gold-embossed bronze-colour gift box complete with card detailing the history of the Penal Cross.
*Connemara Marble is the most renowned and most beautiful of Ireland's ancient indigenous stones, formed some 900 million years ago in the Precambrian Age. Shot through with swirls of green, sepia and dark grey, this marble is sourced from the Joyce family quarry in the Twelve Bens of Connemara, an unspoilt region of great natural beauty and curvaceous peaks in the West of Ireland that imbues the stone with a gentle nurturing sense of peace.
